Well-Being Breaks is offering a variety of holidays for 2008 spread over 15 weeks of the summer in Spain, France and Italy. Your holiday will take place in the company of Jonathan and Linda Riley, as well as a number of other teachers and helpers.
“Well-being” is about your physical, mental and spiritual life (your optimal body, mind and soul). Our breaks boost your well-being by helping you.
Relax in beautiful surroundings with lovely food in a convivial atmosphere
-
Recuperate from your daily life with our gentle yoga and Pilates exercise programme
-
Re-think your life with the help of our NLP-based weekly themes
Ideal for couples, friends or those travelling alone, our breaks are a chance to connect with like-minded people, toget some relief from the pressures of your daily life and return home feeling refreshed and ready to start again. And of course, there is plenty of time to go sight-seeing.

Our Spanish breaks take place in the spring and are based in Andalucia in southern Spain. We offer a choice of a Moorish farmhouse in the Las Alpujarras region of western Andalucia, or a traditional Hacienda in the Pueblos Blancos region in western Andalucia.
Our French breaks occur in June and July and take place at a castle in the Lot and Garonne region of south-west France or a Provencal farmhouse in the south-east.
And in Italy, we have a choice of two traditional villas in Umbria and central Tuscany during August and early September.

Holidays are the perfect time to reflect on our lives and to ask questions about where our lives are going. Our well-being weekly life coaching themes have been devised to assist you in this process. Whether you want to learn to relax more, re-invent yourself with more self-confidence or learn how to be happier, we can help you. Each theme is available on a number of different occasions during our holiday programme, so you could pick from a range of locations for the theme you would like for your break.

We usually run two exercises classes a day; a yoga class in the morning and a Pilates class in the early evening. These generally take place outdoors. Classes are taught by well-qualified teachers and are suitable for all fitness abilities.
We are pleased to announce that we will be joined for four weeks over the summer by Camille Litalien, an exceptional yoga teacher based in London. Click here further details of these weeks

The accommodation is excellent in all cases, with all the properties decorated or restored to high standards. The properties are typically substantial large farmhouses and villas (or a castle) located in rural areas close, but not in, small hamlets or villages. Larger towns are usually within 10km. Many have their own extensive farmland attached which you are free to explore. Rooms are doubles or twins (on a shared basis) with en suite facilities or, occasionally, two rooms may share one bathroom. All the properties have large swimming pools and outside areas to sit out and relax in. They all have outdoor dining areas where we will have our meals.

Each holiday is in a beautiful location, with a wide selection of other activities that you can pursue nearby. You can visit local towns and markets, working vineyards, nearby cities, the coast in some cases, or wilder areas of great natural beauty. Usually there are a number of other physical activities that you can do, such as hill walking, river trips, even caving. In each case, we will be on hand to offer suggestions on all the things you might do. And each week also includes a local wine tasting, a chance to cook a meal, or even the opportunity to view the night sky through an astronomical telescope.

Our food and drink is based on a healthy Mediterranean diet. Each week’s food is biased slightly to the country in which you are staying, but you can expect to eat a combination of Greek, Middle Eastern, Italian, French, Spanish or North African cuisine during your stay – there might even be the occasional Indian meal! Most of the food is vegetarian, but there is usually a meat choice available. Aperitifs and wine with evening meals are included in the cost of each holiday.

Our breaks start at £675 per person per week, with discounts for multiple week stays. They run Saturday to Saturday and the cost includes accommodation, all meals and the basic class programme. It does not include travel or car hire which we highly recommend, nor does it include any one-on-one or additional sessions you might wish to book during your stay. Other terms and conditions apply. See Prices and Booking for more details.
Bookings may be made by telephone, online or you can contact us via email. We accept all major debit and credit cards and all payments are processed via Google Checkout which offers buyers a more secure booking method than is available on many other websites.
